Condition of Hire
1. Terms
All tariffs are per week from Saturday to Saturday. Special offers for holidays other than Saturday to Saturday will be calculated on a daily basis from the weekly tariff. On the day of arrival the accommodation will normally be available from 4pm (subject to unavoidable delays). On the day of departure chalet should be vacated by 10am, leaving everything in a clean and tidy condition. Any damage or loss sustained is the responsibility of the occupant. All prices quoted are VAT free.
2. Bookings
The submission of a completed booking form (or telephone agreement) shall constitute an offer by the client. A contract shall only exist if and when the offer is accepted in writing. Any subsequent request to cancel or vary the booking will only be permitted under exceptional circumstances. All requests for changes in the booking must be notified immediately by telephone and confirmed in writing as soon as possible afterwards.
3. Availability
The booking is accepted on the understanding that the accommodation will be available on the date stated. Should this not be so for any unforeseeable reason, every effort will be made to provide alternative accommodation. If this is not possible all monies will be refunded in full with no claims against the owner or his agency. In the interests of continued improvement, the owner, reserve the right to make changes in the facilities and amenities advertised, or previously available, without prior notice.
4. Booking Restrictions
Bookings by persons under 18 yrs of age can only be accepted under special circumstances and by prior arrangement. All-male or all-female groups under 25yrs of age will not be accepted.
5. Number in a group
Bookings will be entered into only on the understanding that the maximum in a group shall not exceed 4.
6. Payment Arrangements
An initial payment of £80 is payable at the time of booking, the balance to be paid 21 days prior to occupancy
7. Linen and Towels
All bedding is provided and beds made up prior to arrival time. Also provided 2 tea towels, 2 hand towels and 2 bath towels.
8. Pets
A maximum of 2 pets is allowed at £20 per week per pet. No charge for guide dogs. Pets are accepted only if they use pet baskets and on the understanding that they are not allowed on bedding and furniture. Pets must not be left unattended in the chalet or elsewhere. There are no go areas for dogs (e.g. Swimming Pool, Clubhouse) which must be strictly observed. Dogs must be on a lead at all times whilst on the park. Dangerous breed will not be allowed.
9. Vehicles, Personal Property, Accidents
Personal property, vehicles, their accessories and contents, are brought to the park at the owner’s risk. Neither the chalet owner, nor his agent will be responsible for loss or damage from any cause whatsoever or for personal injury or death except through the proven negligence of his servants or agents.
10. Shortcomings
If for any reasons there are shortcomings in the holiday home, the matter should be brought to the attention of the owner immediately so as to give an opportunity to remedy the situation. No claims can be considered if the owner has not been notified. Claims for shortcomings should be made in writing and within 14 days following the completion of the holiday. |
